This screenwriting workshop will be led by Craig Luck, writer of the feature film 'Finch' which stars Tom Hanks. Develop your creative ideas and refine your screenplay.

Through selected short film(s) screened on the day, the workshop will study form and function for the short screenplay. What makes for a good short and how can we use the medium effectively? 

Later in the day, a scene from a feature film will be used for participants to practice and explore the more technical side (screenplay format) as they each write the same scene - before we take a look at how the writer themselves did it and compare and learn.

No previous experience is required. Please bring a laptop with you to participate in the workshop, if you don’t have access to a laptop let us know and we can provide a computer for you.
