This month’s Creative Network features a conversation with our Ignite Somerset Artist in Residence Caroline Vitzthum. We will be exploring the themes and concepts that inspire the artist’s current work From Soil to Weave, which comprises the cultivation of flax and explores its symbolism as well as its use as a source for linen fibres. We will meet on location, from her field of flax - a place that quite literally represents the seeds of an idea.
