The Community Council for Somerset (CCS) is hosting Somerset for Refugees, an online event dedicated to amplifying refugee voices. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about refugee experiences and support empowerment.

We will hear from refugees, activists, supportive organisations, and communities from Somerset.

There will be a focus on stories of people who had to leave their country and started a new life here in the UK.

Speakers will share their challenges/hopes and talk about the people and organisations that helped them to settle into life in Somerset.

Do you have something to say or are you interested in hearing about the challenges and available support? Perhaps, you would like to become a volunteer or a friend of refugees? Then Somerset for Refugees is for you!
