Peter Pan

  • Wellington Arts Association Wellington Arts Centre, Eight Ecre Lane Wellington TA21 8PS United Kingdom (map)

Adults £6 | Children £3

Once upon a time movies were silent. Not quite true. The films from a century ago were usually accompanied by live music. So our showing of the 1924 Peter Pan comes with a score provided by classical harpist Elizabeth Jane Baldry who has played a spellbinding accompaniment to the film for festival audiences around the world. She also narrates the story of how the only surviving print of Peter Pan was discovered and restored in the nick of time. Betty Bronson stars as Peter Pan, the boy who never grew up, who charms Wendy (Mary Brian) and her brothers (Philippe De Lacy, Jack Murphy) to fly with him to Never Never land.

This event is part of Wellington Film Festival.
