This event is part of Wellington Film Festival. For ages 8 - 108! Join us in our Pop-Up Film Studio as we recreate as many moments, lines and scenes from the film as we can in two short, fast and fun sessions. Using just what we find lying around the studio, a green screen and some sticky tape, you’ll create props, costumes and work in front and behind the camera, find out more.

Join us on our Open Day, meet the team, explore the facilities and resources we have and take part in something fun. Visitors can help swede* Star Wars: A New Hope (Episode IV) by using our greens screens, using stop motion animation to create credits or recording a sound effect!
Can't make the date but want to get involved? You can record your scene at home and send it in to us - Swede Your Star Wars Scene
*Sweding means recreating something in a very low budget way using only what you have around you! To see what we mean watch the Ghostbusters swede we made last year during lockdown.

Join us in February half term for our Open Day where you can take part in a variety of FREE taster activities! We’ll be showcasing a different activity in each room of The Engine Room - get involved and create something amazing.
Places are limited subject to Covid guidance, register on arrival. You may need to wait to access some activities if they are popular. Children under 12 must be accompanied at all times.
