BFI Film Club (12-15 Year Olds)
Are you 12 - 15 years old, interested in film and want to learn how to make your own films?
Join us for our BFI Film Club in Minehead! The BFI Film Club offers high-quality learning about film and wider screen media to aspiring young filmmakers. The Club is led by professional film-makers and is a fantastic opportunity to learn about scriptwriting, cinematography, lighting, video editing and acting.

The BFI Film Club offers high-quality learning about film and wider screen media to aspiring young filmmakers. The Club is led by professional film-makers and is a fantastic opportunity to learn new skills, develop creativity, and engage with the best of world cinema.
Participants will learn exciting skills such as scriptwriting, cinematography, lighting, video editing and acting. There will also be a screening of the final films for friends and family at the Regal Theatre in Minehead. Read more.

This event is part of Wellington Film Festival. For ages 8 - 108! Join us in our Pop-Up Film Studio as we recreate as many moments, lines and scenes from the film as we can in two short, fast and fun sessions. Using just what we find lying around the studio, a green screen and some sticky tape, you’ll create props, costumes and work in front and behind the camera, find out more.

But short films are often the starting point for emerging talent to showcase their creative ideas and ability. This is a chance to see recently commissioned films that are making headlines in festivals. Wellington Film Festival
Wellington Film Festival is a new film festival taking place on Sept 30th, October 1st & 2nd 2022. It will be hosted in the charming market town of Wellington in Somerset. The festival will feature an exciting programme of activities, short and feature films, more details to follow.

Immerse yourself in the voice of this unique American treasure, as she takes you on a journey through a key point in musical and social history.
