The BFI Film Club offers high-quality learning about film and wider screen media to aspiring young filmmakers. The Club is led by professional film-makers and is a fantastic opportunity to learn new skills, develop creativity, and engage with the best of world cinema.

Participants will learn exciting skills such as scriptwriting, cinematography, lighting, video editing and acting. There will also be a screening of the final films for friends and family at the Regal Theatre in Minehead. Read more.

Join us in our Pop-Up Film Studio as we recreate as many moments, lines and scenes from the film as we can in two short, fast and fun sessions. Using just what we find lying around the studio, a green screen and some sticky tape, you’ll create props, costumes and work in front and behind the camera, find out more.

Almost fifty years on this musical documentary tells the story of the legendary singer as she records the iconic album that rocked the world, and features her performance at the New Bethnel Baptist Church in LA. Immerse yourself in the voice of this unique American treasure, as she takes you on a journey through a key point in musical and social history.
