The BFI Film Club offers high-quality learning about film and wider screen media to aspiring young filmmakers. The Club is led by professional film-makers and is a fantastic opportunity to learn new skills, develop creativity, and engage with the best of world cinema.

Participants will learn exciting skills such as scriptwriting, cinematography, lighting, video editing and acting. There will also be a screening of the final films for friends and family at the Regal Theatre in Minehead. Read more.

Dates; 10am - 4pm on Saturday 22nd, Monday 24th, Tuesday 25th, Wednesday 26th, Thursday 27th, Friday 28th, Saturday 29th. Plus the screening on Saturday 5th November 2022.

Thursday 10th + Friday 11th February 10am - 4pm

Cost: *FREE for those registered unemployed

Aged 18 and over? Recently been made redundant or looking for employment?

Join us to refresh your digital skills or gain new ones which could help you to become more employable. Over two days you’ll gain new, transferable skills and work towards creating a digital CV to showcase all your strengths to potential employers, plus signposting and support from Kate Saunders our team coach.

A delicious lunch will also be provided . If you need help with access costs such as travel or childcare, please let us know. This activity is FREE* thanks to support from Petroc Community Grants, and part-funded by the European Union Social Fund.
