Come and make a Film in a Day!

On this one-day workshop for over 60’s, you’ll work as a small team to make a short documentary film in a day. You’ll develop an idea and find a good story or subject to document, get hands-on experience of working with broadcast quality cameras, lenses, lighting and microphones and look at an initial edit with the editing software available. Our course tutors will complete the editing, sound mixing and picture grading the following day and post it online for you to share with your family and friends.

 At the end of the day, we’ll signpost you to resources at Somerset Film to help you develop your filmmaking skills. Refreshments will be provided, but please bring your own lunch.  

No previous experience required. All equipment provided.
